Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the use of the isptv.sk service and the ispTVplayer app for Samsung Smart TV (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Provider

2. Service Description

ispTVplayer is a video player app that allows isptv.sk subscribers to watch live TV broadcasts, catch-up archive, video on demand (VOD), and EPG on Samsung Smart TVs. The app does not include any pre-loaded content and requires an active subscription. Content is delivered by partner streaming backends under the licensing terms of your subscription.

3. Account and Registration

You can purchase a subscription at lic.isptv.sk or through an authorized reseller.
After purchase, you receive an activation code to sign in on your Samsung TV.
The activation code and login credentials are personal, non-transferable, and must be kept confidential.
Your account is bound to a limited number of devices according to your chosen plan.
You must be at least 16 years old, or have parental consent.

4. Subscription, Payments, Renewal

Pricing, subscription length, and content packages are set out in the price list at lic.isptv.sk.
The subscription is paid in advance. After expiry, the Service is automatically deactivated unless renewed.
Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of conclusion under § 7 of Slovak Act No. 102/2014 Coll. This does not apply if you have expressly consented to the start of the Service before the withdrawal period elapses and have been informed of the loss of this right.
We process complaints and refunds within 30 days of receiving the request.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

not share login credentials with third parties;
not use the Service in violation of copyright or content licenses;
not attempt reverse-engineering, decompilation, or circumvention of technical protection measures;
not publish or redistribute Service content (recording, streaming, redistribution);
not use the Service for commercial public viewing (public spaces, hotels, restaurants) without a separate agreement with the Provider.

In case of breach, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the account without compensation.

6. Content Rights

All content available through the Service (TV channels, films, series, EPG metadata, logos) is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights of the respective rights holders. Your subscription grants you only a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to view the content during the subscription period. No further rights (copying, redistribution) are granted.

7. Service Availability

We strive for the highest possible availability, but the Service cannot be guaranteed without interruption.
Planned maintenance is usually performed during night hours with minimal impact.
Some channels or content may be available only in certain geographic regions or under specific subscription plans.
Playback quality depends on your internet connection speed (10 Mbps+ recommended for HD).

8. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". We are not liable for:

content unavailability caused by third parties (channel providers, internet connection);
playback quality with insufficient connection speed;
indirect, consequential, or non-pecuniary damages.

Our liability is limited to the amount of subscription fees paid in the last 12 months, unless mandatory legal provisions provide otherwise.

9. Privacy

Processing of your personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time at lic.isptv.sk; the Service remains active until the end of the paid period.
In case of material breach of the Terms, we may terminate the Service immediately.
After subscription termination, the app signs out and content becomes unavailable.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify users of material changes at least 30 days in advance via tsc.isptv.sk or email. By continuing to use the Service after changes take effect, you agree to the new Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. We will attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. Failing this, the general courts of the Slovak Republic have jurisdiction. Consumers have the right to alternative dispute resolution via the Slovak Trade Inspection (soi.sk) or the EU online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
